“Clean Team couldn’t be more proud of the acquisition of SMI,” says Scott Webb, COO of Clean Team, Inc. “SMI’s core values align with Clean Team and we hope to capitalize on their 30 years in commercial cleaning to expand into new markets such as: New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Arizona.”

Steve Garcia said, “Here at SMI Facility Services, we are very excited to be part of the Clean Team, Bob Armbruster family of companies and his vision for growth and expansion is exciting for our team. The resources and capabilities that will become available will help us continue our growth in the Southwest. It was very important to us to find someone who shared the same values of service and commitment to our customers, our employees and our community. We look forward to working with the whole team and making their mission a success.”

About KleenCo

“We are very pleased with this acquisition,” said Scott Webb. “We combine two companies passionate about building strong relationships and building industry-leading customer loyalty. This acquisition will also allow us to expand our presence in southwestern Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri.

“Together with the additional office in Evansville, Indiana, this will make Clean Team’s third branch in the state of Indiana, giving us the ability to service the upstate, central Indiana, and now the southern part of the state. Frontline staff and management have supported both acquisitions, setting us up for success and growth opportunities,” said Jim Armbruster.
