UPSC IES ISS Recruitment 2022 Latest News: The Union Civil Service Commission is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the UPSC Indian Economic Service – Indian Statistical Service Examination 2022. The deadline to apply online for UPSC IES ISS 2022 is tomorrow April 26, 2022. UPSC aims to fill 24 vacancies in the Indian Economic Service and 29 vacancies in the Indian Statistical Service.

Applicants should note that there will be a cap on the number of applicants allocated to each of the centers except Ahmedabad (IES/ISS only), Chennai, Delhi (IES/ISS only), Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. The allocation of centers will be on a “first request, first allocation” basis, and once the capacity of a particular center is reached, it will be frozen. Candidates are therefore informed that they can apply early so that they can obtain a center of their choice.

Candidates applying for UPSC IES/ISS 2022 will be required to sit for a two-part written exam which will include a Part I written exam which will carry a maximum of 1000 points in the subjects and a Part II viva voice which will carry a maximum of 200 points. Candidates who pass the Part I written exam will be called for the Viva Voice Part II by the Commission.

UPSC IES ISS 2022 How to Apply

(i) Applicants can apply online only through the official UPSC IES/ISS website or click on the online application link provided below. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before completing the application form.

(ii) The online application form is available in English and Hindi, but it can only be completed in English. Filling the online application contains two parts.

(iii) When registering for Part I, the applicant will be required to provide basic information. When submitting the details, the applicant will be asked to check the details and make corrections, if any, in the application.

(iv) Registration of Part II includes the following steps. Complete payment details (except for fee-exempt candidates), upload photograph, signature, photo ID document, test center selection, and statement acceptance.

(v) The candidate must press the “I accept” button after seeing that the information he has provided is correct and no correction is required. Thereafter, no corrections/modifications will be allowed. When the “I accept” button is pressed, a page with the registration number will be generated. Please note the registration number or print the page. Application is incomplete without payment, upload of scanned photograph, signature, photo ID document, center selection, and declaration agreement.

(vi) The scanned photograph must be in JPG format and should be uploaded first. The digital file size must not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than 20 KB and a resolution of 350 pixels (Width) X 350 pixels (Height) minimum, 1000 pixels (Width) X 1000 pixels (Height) maximum and Image file bit depth must be 24-bit.

(vii) After uploading your photo, upload your scanned signature in JPG format. The digital size of each file must not exceed 300 KB and must not be less than 20 KB and a resolution of 350 pixels (Width) X 350 pixels (Height) minimum, 1000 pixels (Width) X 1000 pixels (Height) maximum and Image file bit depth must be 24-bit.

(viii) Then upload your photo ID document in PDF format only. The numerical size of the PDF file must not exceed 300 KB and must not be less than 20 KB.

(ix) If you select the assistive device other than the one listed, upload “other assistive device” scanned in JPG format. The digital file size must not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than 20 KB and a resolution of 350 pixels (Width) X 350 pixels (Height) minimum, 1000 pixels (Width) X 1000 pixels (Height) maximum and Image file bit depth must be 24-bit.

REMARK: Please note that changes are not allowed in the online application once it is submitted. If you wish to make changes, you can submit a new application with the required revision before the deadline for receipt of application, i.e. 26-04-2022 (6:00 p.m.).

UPSC IES ISS 2022 Registration fees

Applicants can pay the application fee online, by credit/debit card/net banking service of any bank or by cash payment in SBI bank.

Applicants (except Women/SC/ST/Disabled Reference who are exempted from paying fees) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by handing over the cash at any branch of State Bank of India either using Visa/Master/RuPay credit/debit card or using SBI internet banking.

To note: Candidates should note that payment of examination fees can only be made through the modes prescribed above. Payment of fees by any other method is neither valid nor acceptable. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
