Sales Operations and Marketing Specialist

What you will do:
As a Sales Operations and Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Vice President of Sales, National Account Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing Manager and Sales Representatives. You will support marketing and sales efforts and assist with event planning and project management tasks as needed. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting all sales KPIs.

• You are positive and proactive. You like to take initiative, lead the charge and you take pride in your work. You tend to see the bright side of things and inspire others to do the same

Role and responsibilities:
• Complete and maintain item/supplier forms (Excel)
• Run sales/inventory reports, analyze and distribute key metrics to team
• Calendar of dates and maintenance of internal and external planning
• Take and maintain meeting notes and follow up on action items with team members
• Attend sales and marketing meetings and assign follow-up responsibilities
• Track sales team KPIs, quotas and goals and disseminate them with a weekly summary
• Assist the VP of Sales with monthly and quarterly executive summaries
• Ensure that all sales staff have the necessary equipment to do their job effectively
• Maintain supply of sales presentation materials i.e. sell sheets and posters
• Manage sales and marketing samples with Fulfillment Manager
• Assist in the execution of large scale special events.

Desired education and experience:
• College degree preferred
• 1 to 2 years of experience in sales or administration
• Solid Excel background
• Good command of Sheets/Apps
• Experience with customer CRMs
• Knowledge of alcohol industry trends and regulations an asset
• Experience in sales/marketing in a national chain, an asset
• Previous administrative/HR or other office experience an asset
• Experience working within a distributed team, an asset
